Responsibilities
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
• Supervise the design and engineering processes for solar farm projects.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure high-quality work.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects remain within financial constraints.
• Allocate resources effectively to optimize project outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Promote a culture of safety within the engineering team.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Identify and address technical and operational challenges that arise during the project.
• Implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum and integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Prepare regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design changes, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
• Ensure all project records are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering within the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar farm projects.
• Proven track record of supervising engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) technology, system design, and installation.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical.
