Project Engineer (Solar Power Plant)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Site surveys project for study project feasibility
• Design and review a wide range of the solar rooftop / solar power plant project
• Design and review a wide range of the solar farm / solar power plant project
• Project prelim design
• PV rooftop plant layout
• Electrical system
• Mechanical system
• Roof structural system
• Security and Monitoring system
• Understand Thailand regulatory requirements, installation standards, and implementation costs
• Prepare the project documents to submit utilities (MEA/PEA), regulator (ERC) and the others parties for project licenses and permits
• Develop cost estimates of project that include all aspects of the project cycle
• Build relationships with the key contact persons such as Customers, Utilities and EPC partners
• Participate in project deployments, monitoring, inspection and construction activities
• Plan and develop an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) program which includes coordinated oversight of O&M activities, quarterly performance reports and sited documentation for clients and internal use, remote monitoring of the plants and conferring with customer and service partners to resolve complaints and to resolve arising challenges
• Report to Engineering Team Leader for supervision and validation of reports and designs
• Work with working team to build capacity and to learn about the changing solar markets
• Perform other duties as required
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Energy or any related fields
• At least 3 years experience in Solar Farm Projects, Power Plant projects, Solar farm projects will be considered in advance
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skill
• Good command of English (writing and speaking) and Computer Skill
• Able to work in the southern region of Thailand.
