Analyst (Loan Monitoring)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Monitor and track all loan agreements related to corporate project finance in the solar and wind sectors.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of loans, including payment schedules.
• Identify and assess risks related to loan repayments and project financing.
• Collaborate with the finance team to implement strategies for mitigating financial risks in solar and wind projects.
• Ensure compliance with loan terms, conditions, and covenants for both solar and wind projects.
• Maintain and organize loan documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external (Banking) and stakeholders to ensure smooth loan operations.
• Act as a point of contact for queries related to loan management, repayment schedules, and project financing.
• Monitor the financial performance of solar and wind projects to ensure adherence to loan agreements and repayment plans.
• Track key financial metrics and project milestones to assess loan performance and forecast potential adjustments to financing terms.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, or loan monitoring, preferably in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind).
• Experience in financial analysis, loan management, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with financial models, loan agreements, and project financing structures in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of financial products, including loans, interest calculations, and repayment schedules.
• Ability to assess and mitigate financial risks in large-scale projects.
• Proficient in using financial software and Excel for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of renewable energy projects, specifically in solar and wind energy, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and industry standards related to project finance.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including financial institutions and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
