About this position

Our client is an international specialist in digital communications systems, with their own modern, internally developed SaaS systems. They are looking for a Senior Engineer with solid and strong skills in software development, and able to mentor and support other members of the development team.

Responsibilities

- Utilize JS/TS with Node to develop systems running in public cloud environments
- Design systems, utilizing modern/cloud architectures and tools (including microservices and serverless) to produce optimal services
- Help build tools and define best practices (including exploring the use of AI) to help other developers improve the quality of their work and reliability of systems.
- Encourage the teams to try new ideas and techniques in order to improve their work
- Engage in new development projects, and work to help ensure optimal customer experience

Requirements

- Minimum of 7 years’ experience including at least 2 years’ in a technical lead position
- Strong background in JavaScript / Node / TypeScript development
- Solid experience with public cloud (AWS and/or Azure) and comfortable designing scalable systems with different architectures to run in the cloud
- Good understanding of integrating services
- Able to mentor other developers and monitor both coding and systems to ensure optimal performance
- Very good English skills and proven experience working effectively in a local environment
