About this position

Our client is an international specialist in digital communications systems, with their own modern, internally developed SaaS systems.

They are looking for a DevOps specialist with solid experience working with Azure cloud to cover ongoing deployment and reliable operation of the company’s systems

Responsibilities

- Enhance Azure and AWS infrastructure across multiple global regions, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and availability.
- Drive the transformation of monitoring systems using modern observability practices, and develop internal tools to streamline deployment processes.
- Automate IT infrastructure-related projects and proactively solve complex systemic challenges related to server deployments and corporate IT initiatives.
- Manage database services, ensure 24x7 server monitoring, maintain configuration backups, and manage data replication and failover across multiple locations.

Requirements

- Proficient in designing and developing cloud-based infrastructure on Azure (required) and AWS using Terraform and CDK, with a focus on CI/CD systems for automatic testing and deployment.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking concepts, and microservices as well as a good understanding of software development
- Demonstrated expertise in various Azure and AWS services, including AKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, and more, along with experience in building scalable infrastructure on these platforms.
- Proficient in leveraging Automation/DevOps principles and operational tools for infrastructure and software deployment, with a deep understanding of distributed architecture.
- Good English skills and capable of explaining complex concepts to various teams
