Planning and contract management Engineer - AMD Renewable Energy
About this position
The Planning and Contract Management Engineer at AMD Renewable Energy is responsible for developing and managing maintenance plans, coordinating with various parties, and ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting financial and operational aspects of renewable power plants.
Responsibilities
• Prepare comprehensive preventive maintenance plans (PM plans) based on manufacturer manuals, long-term service agreements (LTSA), service availability agreements (SAA), and relevance O&M contracts, ensuring efficiency and economy.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to prepare schedules for corrective maintenance (CM) and prepare terms of reference (TOR) for procurement process.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure PM and CM activities align with predefined scopes and plans.
• Review and analyze PM, CM, and RCA reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to plan the spare parts purchasing, ensuring plant reliability and economy.
• Manage contracts including Equipment Supply Contract, Long-term service agreements (LTSA), service availability agreements (SAA), O&M contracts, etc. ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
• Ensure that renewable power plants comply with all licenses, regulations, and laws.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to develop risk assessment and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to prepare and monitor annual budgets.
• Provide support to the management on financial, accounting, tax, and related matters.
• Collaborate with relevant parties for warranty claims.
• Support the technical training programs for O&M staff.
• Must be aware of and play a vital role in the quality, environmental, occupational health & safety, environmental safety, and social management systems (ISO 14001, 9001, 45001, ESMS).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, energy, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations & maintenance or planning of renewable energy plants or conventional power plants, or related fields.
• Experience in contract management or maintenance planning is preferred.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and maintain thorough follow-up to meet deadlines.
• Able to work both in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to focus on essential information and identify key details.
• Able to work in the upcountry. Local candidates from the project area are preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Good command in English (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
