Gas Dispatcher (Shift Operator)
About this position
The Gas Dispatcher (Shift Operator) is responsible for daily gas dispatching operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing LNG inventory while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities
• Daily Gas Dispatching operation 24/7 (12 hours per shift) and prepare gas dispatch operation for monthly, weekly and daily operation.
• Gas dispatch coordinate with Power Plant, EGAT / other Shippers, PTT TSO, LNG Terminal Operator for the gas nomination, adjustment, allocation according to plan and real time adjustment to align within contract constraint.
• Maintain/control and monitoring LNG inventory on plan.
• Timely response to the operation changes and raise the issue to Dispatch operation manager.
• Daily & shift report preparation / Event log / Report to management level.
• Be able to prepare related operation procedure and work instruction according to the contract requirement.
• Preparation and Support Gas Shipper Operation related to Contract management PPA, GSA, LNG SPA (LNG Sale & Purchase Agreement), TUA (Terminal Usage Agreement), PCC (Pipeline Capacity Contact), Inter-Shipper Agreement & Shipper Agreements.
• Gas Supply planning and coordination with LNG supplier, Power Plants, EGAT, PTT TSO, LNG Terminal operators and other Gas Shippers.
• Execute and manage LNG inventory and gas supply with other operator, other Gas shippers at LNG Terminal and Pipeline for borrow-lend-buy LNG, Gas & capacity of LNG terminal and gas pipeline.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in power plant (IPP) with experience in coordination with EGAT dispatch, EGAT planner and PTT shipper dispatching team is a plus.
• Gas shipper experience or related fields is a plus.
• Understand process of gas nomination for monthly, weekly and daily operation.
• Can-do attitude with high ownership. Be able to manage, coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders in timely manner.
• Ability to work “Shift rotation.”
• Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
