About this position

The Assistant Manager - Sustainability will coordinate sustainability efforts across departments, support the implementation of ESG-related policies, and contribute to the development of sustainability strategies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments, functions, and business units
• Compile qualitative and quantitative data/information related to sustainability/ESG topics
• Align similar/related work across functions
• Support implementation of sustainability/ESG-related policies, processes, and activities
• Support sustainability/ESG-related disclosure activities including:
• Preparation of the annual Sustainability Report and sustainability section of the Annual Report
• Update of sustainability/ESG-related information in the corporate website
• Submission of sustainability/ESG assessments
• Responses to investors, lenders, analysts, assessors, and other relevant parties
• Support development and implementation of sustainability/ESG-related strategies and plans
• Support culture creation throughout the organization via training, workshops, knowledge-sharing, and other learning activities
• Monitor changes/updates in sustainability/ESG-related trends, laws, regulations, assessment criteria, and consumer perceptions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, political science, economics, environmental issues, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Strong written & spoken English & Thai (international experience preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate sustainability-related work (direct corporate experience preferred over regulatory/assessor or consultancy role)
• Independent and self-motivated work style
• Demonstrable people management & interpersonal skills
• Relevant professional certifications a plus
