Plant IT/OT System Administrator
About this position
The Plant IT/OT System Administrator will be expected to provide local support for the Process and Operational technology infrastructure, requiring a strong working knowledge of infrastructure and networking technologies, preferably in the manufacturing space.
Responsibilities
• Manage IT/technology related project deployments in the plant, providing local support where needed.
• Collaborate with other teams such as engineering and global IT/OT teams.
• Manage onsite IT service providers and vendors.
• Implement, maintain, and support plant operational printers.
• Proactively troubleshoot and solve OT network or OT systems issues.
• Own and support anti-virus software on plant Process workstations, laptops, and servers.
• Responsible for Backup/Restore of critical Process workstations.
• Administer and support software patching on plant Process workstations, laptops, and servers.
• Cybersecurity.
• Familiar with ITIL processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the administration of a network, servers, desktop systems and communication devices.
• Working knowledge of current network communications devices and protocols as well as server and desktop technologies, esp. Windows Server.
• Working knowledge of Cisco products, VMware, and any Backup/Restore solution.
• Knowledge of any IT Ticketing solution, and handling of Incidents, and Requests.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
• Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure.
• Fluent in English, able to communicate with teams in other continents. Thai is mandatory.
