About this position

The KAIZEN Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing quality activities related to the Zinc Die Casting process, plating, and final assembly, while continuously improving processes and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Take responsible for the overall quality activities related Zinc Die Casting process, plating and final assembly process.
• Perform statistical process studies and analyze data to identify root causes of defects and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Continuously make suggestions to improve processes in regard to quality and productivity.
• Reduce scrap product and identify opportunities for increasing capacity.
• Develop and implement Kaizen projects to optimize equipment operability and productivity.
• Lead, Supervise and control Group Leaders & Inspector to perform their responsibility properly.
• Take response of problem solving of internal rejection and customer complaint and claim.
• Support for all of improvement/promotion activities including all concerned management system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any field).
• At least 5 years’ experience in in Zinc Die Casting process, Automotive industrial or related field.
• Good command of English (Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing).
• Strong knowledge of FMEA, PDCA, DMAIC, Statistical, problem solving.
• Able to work in Klaeng, Rayong province, Thailand.
