About this position

The Die Casting Engineer (Shift Engineer) is responsible for developing, configuring, and optimizing the Zinc Die Casting process, ensuring efficient production and quality control while coordinating with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and optimize Zinc Die Casting process (High Pressure).
• Check ZDC steps (cast/trim/CNC/grind/polish) and training workers focus on the CNC process.
• Check ZDC production place to tidy and improve the working place.
• Maintain and control the condition of machinery and equipment as well as follow the TPM process.
• Control output, productivity efficiency quality and problem solving.
• Working with the working team (Group Leader & Support department).
• Coordinate with the Tool design team and all other involved departments.
• Work closely with production departments during pilot run and ramp up production.
• Develop best practices, routines and innovation solutions to improve productivity and quality.
• Cross functional support to other departments and the Head Office (Germany) project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Metallurgical/Mechanical/Industrial.
• 3-5+ years process control at manufacturing; casting, trimming, CNC or process engineer.
• Leadership/ Product cost, testing skills / Project Management/ Controlling.
• Can supervise for all Group Leader and operator.
• Good command of English, conversational and writing skills and MS Office, MS project, SAP.
• Able to work in Klaeng, Rayong (not have shuttle bus).
