Regional Purchasing Analyst – Asia Pacific
About this position
The Regional Purchasing Analyst - Asia Pacific role at Griffith Foods involves supporting sustainable sourcing initiatives, managing supplier sustainability programs, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive global purchasing initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure inclusion and alignment on global purchasing initiatives.
• Manage the Sustainable Sourcing activities related to our targeted Raw Material Categories, performed through Griffith Foods’ Certified Sustainable Program and any third-party CSR program Griffith Foods has selected (currently EcoVadis).
• Develop suppliers and/or programs that will further enhance Griffith Foods’ Sustainable Sourcing platform.
• Manage the Supplier Sustainability program including reporting on current progress and refining the programs.
• Managing and reporting on progress for specific initiatives related to Global Purchasing, including training programs and purchasing scorecards (including a scorecard published by the Global Purchasing team every quarter).
• Assist in building a global market report which will be published regularly.
• Develop tools for the improvement of tracking, managing, and execution of regional/BU financial and sourcing practices.
• Develop and maintain financial and sourcing dashboards.
• Understand and be able to utilize the Raw Material Forecasting (RMF) tool, Supplier Evaluation, D365, and Griffith Foods Applications (GFAPPS) relevant modules.
• Drive contentious improvement and compliance with the systems used in purchasing.
• Preparing, and executing global sourcing events in conjunction with global and local purchasing teams. This is to be done through Griffith Foods’ current e-sourcing platform.
• Produce structured, concise, and meaningful reports, summarizing results, making recommendations, and justifying conclusions from consolidated technical information.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems and/or an MBA will be advantageous.
