Senior Network Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Design, review and implement network communication related projects to assure good quality, security, time and cost.
• Configure, migrate and install various network devices and IP Telephony systems.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
• Work as second tier support for network communication related issues.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in area of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related fields.
• At least 4 years of experience in network administrator, network engineer or related position.
• Experience with LAN/Wi-Fi, WAN, firewalls, VPN design, implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Good knowledge of LAN/WAN and VoIP networks, TCP/IP protocols, Routing protocols and network technologies.
• Customer Service focus, team player and good communication skills.
• Initiative an innovative in IT network.
• English Communication will be advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule.
