Technical Training Specialist (Automotive/EV)
About this position
The Technical Training Specialist (Automotive/EV) is responsible for developing and implementing training programs, ensuring the effective application of learned skills, and managing training activities to align with the overall strategy.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the team on both development initiatives and training programs.
• Design and develop high-quality training courses and other learning tools, such as on-the-job training (OJT), mentoring, and coaching.
• Develop and implement a system to follow up after training, ensuring practical application of learned skills.
• Oversee and monitor all training activities and dealer motivation programs to ensure alignment with the overall training strategy.
• Track, report, and analyze key training metrics (KPIs) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to assess program effectiveness, identify lessons learned, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Prepare documentation for audits, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TISI, and other relevant standards.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the manager or the company.
• Manage the flawless launch of new products within the technical service operations area.
• Maintain and ensure the retention of all technical documents and publications.
• Plan, budget, and control activities related to Technical Support and Training.
Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in Technical Support, Technical Training, After-Sales Development, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills with a high sense of urgency and a service-minded approach.
• Proficient in MS Office and social media platforms.
• Ability to persuade and influence teams while working in diverse environments.
• Strong presentation and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills, both written and verbal, catered to a wide variety of audiences.
