Safety Engineer
About this position
The Safety Engineer is responsible for implementing safety management systems, conducting inspections, and providing guidance on safety initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Responsibilities
• Implement and work for safety management system.
• Monitor and follow up the result of incident investigation.
• Conduct inspection or audit regarding contractor problem, coordinate resolving items, and improvement.
• Review, and update safety procedure, and relevant documents to align with ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
• Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
• Prepare annual emergency response drill, security system and relevant the reports.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors or leaders.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in safety role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Having experience in automotive business or vehicle parts manufacturing will be an advantage.
• Certification and registration to occupational health & safety officer, internal auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
• Good in analytical, problem solving, decision making, coordination, and interpersonal.
• Accurate communication and strong leadership skills.
• Good command in English or Chinese would be advantage.
