MES Engineer
About this position
The MES Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining machinery management applications, improving the MES system, and ensuring efficient operation of production line systems.
Responsibilities
• Create an application or website to develop machinery management according to the equipment department's guidelines to be more efficient.
• Maintain and improve the MES system.
• Responsible for systems of every machine in the production line that uses computer language for programming, such as making backups, cloning, as well as training for users.
• Improve spare part management system.
• Assist the section leader in managing and coordinating the work of the department to ensure that department plans are completed on time.
• According to the company's various administrative requirements, assist the department head in managing department personnel and various tasks. To achieve the goal of forming an effective team.
• Coordinate the preparation of tools and equipment. Spare parts, technology, etc. are shared with each workshop according to production needs. To improve the rate of resource utilization.
• According to the working status of the machines in the workshop Collect and organize basic machine information to provide a basis for defining and implementing the machinery improvement plan.
• Support the efficient operation of the asset management system to ensure that equipment, utilities, tools, and construction and civil assets are in good condition.
• Troubleshot MES-related issues.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or high in Computer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in MES Engineer or related field.
• Knowledge in database & SQL such as Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).
• Programming languages; Java, C++, C#, Python etc.
• Knowledge in Kepware.
• Website and application create (Front end, Back end, full stack).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management, strategic planning, and operation software.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
• Good communication in English or Chinese would be an advantage.
