Senior Product Designer - Insurance
About this position
As a Senior Product Designer on the Insurance team, you will grow Product Design quality and practice and work with Problem Space Teams on projects. You will work in a collaborative fashion, exploring the needs of our users and creating impactful solutions for the business.
Responsibilities
• Guide Product Design outcomes and set direction across teams; create complex, projects.
• Ensure we build the right solutions - addressing value, usability, feasibility and viability, and any necessary trade-offs with minimal waste, while safeguarding goals.
• Defend design decisions and convince senior partners.
• Guide collaboration across domains, functions and teams; facilitate their agreement and efficiencies by increasing discussions, workshops and exploration.
• Guide problem exploration, solution discovery and solution delivery across teams; display autonomy to work and navigate complexity independently.
• Be an force multiplier by helping designers in adjacent teams deliver better work.
• Develop problem-framing approaches, establishing new starting points that lead to new kinds of solutions, not just execution, across teams.
• Design simple solutions to complex problems; knit together multiple 'products' in an experience and unlocking new value.
• Produce visual design that elevates the quality, consistency, and credibility of user experiences.
• Use a variety of prototyping tools and methods to create interactive and realistic prototypes with complex functionality.
Requirements
• Provide a portfolio of your recent design work in English, showcasing your contribution and the impact of your projects. We recommend you provide clear context, outline your end-to-end workflow, and demonstrate how you go from problem discovery to launch.
• 4+ years of Product Design experience.
• Experience working on cross-functional product teams.
• Solid fundamentals in interaction and visual design craft and practice.
• Solid knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.
• Experience with Figma, Protopie, After Effects, or other design tooling.
• Experience in Service Design, User Research, Front-end Development, Accessible Design or Design Systems.
