About this position

We are looking for a Merchant Acquisition Associate to help Grab build strategic on how to ensure Merchants can extend their business opportunity through Grab. This opportunity will give you the exposures to be part of the team to increase growth for Grab.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential restaurant partners in the market.
• Reach out to prospective merchants by phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Conduct presentations to showcase the benefits of joining our platform.
• Support the partnership negotiation agreements and terms.
• Collaborate with the onboarding team to provide a smooth integration for new merchants.
• Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions and pipeline status.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Provide feedback from merchants to improve our service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in Sales or Account Management.
• Experience establishing relationships and managing projects.
• Experience with sales principles and customer service.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Passion for the food industry and knowledge of local dining trends is a bonus.
