Process Engineering Manager
About this position
The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the setup and improvement of production processes for both new and existing products, ensuring high levels of competence among engineers and technicians, and collaborating with various departments to optimize production outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for monitoring and supporting the setting up of Production Processes for new products and existing ones.
• Responsible for supporting improvements in production processes from CT point of view and waste management point of view.
• Responsible for reviewing technology processes in order to optimize production outcome in collaboration with Production, NPI, PTD and Quality departments.
• Responsible for support training of Engineers/Technicians in the main processes, also for newcomers and ensure a high level of competence.
• Responsible to follow up on employment and selection of new Engineering/Technicians.
• Responsible for working with the Quality and Production dept to define CA/PA to improve quality yields and fix production problems.
• Responsible for managing a Maintenance organization related to machines. Managing spare parts and cost control.
• Responsible to define new machinery requirement and upgrade (from quotation phase to installation and validation in production line).
• Responsible for keeping a close collaboration with other GPV sites to ensure process alignment and best practices sharing.
• Responsible for defining key performance metrics for each team and driving performance improvement activities.
• Provide information to support Management team.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing in Engineering Area.
• Have experience concerning electronics production processes (SMT, HM, Coating, Potting).
• Proven experience in machine technology knowledge.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 /14001 and Safety principles.
• Basic knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean is required.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Systematic Problem Solving and Decision making.

• Critical Thinking skills.
• Mature with pleasant personality, work well under pressure.
• Strong leadership, good attitude, proactive thinking and self-motivated.
