About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of financial reports, ensuring compliance with national regulatory requirements, and adherence to international accounting standards and other relevant regulations.
• Analyze and interpret the company's financial performance, providing timely financial statements and analytical reports to support decision-making for the management. Formulate and monitor key financial performance indicators, offering strategic advice.
• To meet business requirements, establish and maintain legal entities in various countries, to ensure smooth business operations.
• Lead the development of the company's and departmental annual budgets, oversee their execution, and ensure alignment with the company's strategy.
• Manage the company's capital structure, and optimize capital allocation and utilization. Track various departmental financial policies and expense management regulations, control expense ratios, and enhance the company's profitability.
• Identify and assess potential financial risks, developing corresponding risk management strategies.
• Lead the legal team in establishing relevant risk management processes and rules to minimize operational risks for the company.
• Monitor operational indicators such as cash flow, bad debts, and accounts payable, and provide rationalized suggestions to ensure the financial health of the company.
• Lead and develop an efficient team, ensuring their professional capabilities match the company's needs.
• Collaborate with the board, organize and support relevant meetings.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in financial management, planning, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of Southeast Asian corporate laws and regulations, with experience managing legal entities across multiple countries in the region.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential. Proficiency in other Southeast Asian languages or Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
