About this position

The New Product Industrialization Engineer will focus on developing new product industrialization and tire processes, aiming for continuous improvement to enhance tire quality and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• You will develop new product industrialization, new tire processes, and continuous improvement to reduce construction costs. Develop process and innovation solutions to improve tire quality.
• You will reduce waste of process improvement.
• You will develop the new product according product roadmap and meet the customer's requirements.
• You will develop and continuously improve managerial and technical skills.
• You will train, mentor, coach, counsel, and discipline direct reports and perform periodic evaluations of subordinates as needed.
• You will develop and maintain equipment safety, quality, productivity, and energy standards.
• You will be involved in the PO (Plant Optimization) process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Rubber, and Polymer Technology.
• Experience in compounder and tire process is an advantage.
• Basic user of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in BOM and Drawing.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and driving quality for products.
• Energize the team and maintain a positive attitude with peers. Provide constructive feedback. Plan and lead meetings.
• Give clear and concise technical guidance. Manage/deflect/diffuse conflict. Provide technical direction and logical conclusion within the function. Actively solicit leadership opportunities.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Collaborative and team-oriented temperament.
• Good initiative and implement process improvement.
