About this position
Responsibilities
• You will anticipate the total network inventory position impacts of sale /seasonal volume, new item introductions, and obsolete item discontinuation and manage appropriate actions to meet inventory targets.
• You will analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution.
• Conduct capacity planning and provide input to management regarding machine capacity or manpower issues.
• You will lead weekly meetings with the manufacturing team to ensure supply status is on track. Any foreseen issues need to be raised quickly.
• You will work with the global supply chain Aviation team in case of supply constraints and ensure import and local production supply is smooth and serve the customer's.
• You will provide direct analytical support and reports for planning and customer service.
• You will be responsible for managing the entire planning for all Finished Goods (import and AP produced) and regional inventory for Aviation both new and retread. This position requires the use of analytical and quantitative methods to make sure inventory is imported, produced and deployed most effectively through the Supply Chain to minimize redeployment, keep transportation costs low, and maximize customer order fulfillment.
• You will take action to forecast and prevent inventory issues or to escalate and communicate them well in advance. Implement strategies to manage inventory issues with limited impact on customers.
• You will drive S&OP process improvements in the supply planning function collaborating with all stakeholders.
• You will lead the Capability & Capacity discussion in the R vs CC process collaborating with all stakeholders in Manufacturing, Quality and Technology, and the Aviation Supply Chain Director.
• You will work with Customer Service, Demand Planning, Sales, and Manufacturing to coordinate schedules and other supply chain activities where demand exceeds supply, during supply shortages, where event timing necessitates an inventory build-up. Be able to work on scenario planning and supply options.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in planning (both supply and demand planning) with good analytical skills.
• Working in experience in the supply chain field at least 10 years in a multi-national company.
• Having experience in a supply planning role at least 5 years in the manager level.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand/supply planning, and customer service.
• Good communication skill is required and a strong customer service mindset.
• Good command of English (speaking, listening, and writing) and good communication skill.
• Can work under pressure and meet the deadline.
