Branded Retail Business Development Manager
About this position
The Branded Retail Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and growing a branded retail network through strategic planning and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Develop and grow a branded retail network with the implementation of short-term and long-term strategic plans
• Conduct Business Reviews with branded retailers to improve performance and achieve business targets
• Ensure branded Retail compliance
• Implement retail excellence execution with collaborative internal key stakeholders
• You will grow the branded retail network by acquiring potential customers and business partners for branded retailers; initiate & follow through the processes with internal and external contacts on investment justification & approval
• You will manage and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to grow the productivity of branded retailer
• You will deliver uniqueness of customer value proposition (CVP) through branded retailers
• You will conduct business reviews with branded retailers covering sales, volume, demand forecast, profitability and incorporating with brand retailers’ objective
• You will work closely with Head of Sales – Retails, Trade marketing and cross-function to deploy customized trade facilitation programs and deliver business target
• You will lead branded audits by monitoring the consistency of retail execution and conducting full store audits and quick store audits regularly
• You will propose a program to motivate and recognize the best performers and best improvers
• You will work with the Manager to produce benchmark reports from the store audit and with Sales to communicate the improvement targets to individual stores
• you will work with GY Sales, and Marketing to coordinate the deployment of GY retail programs in the field
• You will work with Customers to support the Co-op and the agreed store's promotions
• You will ensure proper and on-time availability of point of sales and related materials as well as logistics for the sales/marketing programs
Requirements
• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent
• Minimum of 5- 7 years experience in sales and marketing with Retail operation experience; with some experience in trade marketing and operations
• Good Store operational skills in a Retail environment
• Able to interact closely with Sales & Marketing Dept and Functional Dept
• Exposure to the retail environment and channel sales
• Able to interact with customers and act as an advisor and be a key influencer.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and team player
• Competency in Microsoft Office
• Good English Communication
• Able to locate in upcountry
