Senior Data Analyst - Risk (Food & Consumer)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Identify new fraud emerging trends/patterns and recommend solutions both at the strategic and tactical levels, balancing the business vision and the practicality of implementations
• Assess, validate, and optimize risk rules to ensure best outcomes and to meet stipulated risk target metrics
• Identify risk assessment from products, systems, processes and recommend possible preventive measures
• Influence roadmaps of partner teams, including the wider Risk organization, Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, Mobility business, Operations and Finance
• Identify and predict blockers, conflicts and risks to projects across multiple teams and seek solutions to drive timely execution
Requirements
• At least 4 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment (prior experience in fraud/risk domain is preferred)
• Strong project management skills on collaborating with multiple stakeholders and product managers to improve processes and products to reduce the overall risk of departments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and present them clearly and coherently to various stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, take quick decisions & recommend effective solutions on a day-to-day basis - always backed by strong data points
• Skills of extracting insights from large data sets with the help of SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, etc., and experience with visualization tools like Tableau, DataStudio, etc
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, knowledge, and information exchange across various stakeholders
• Being exposed to building statistical models using both unsupervised & supervised learning algorithms is a plus
