GPSC, PTT Group's Power Flagship, has been founded on 10th January 2013 through the amalgamation of PTTUT and IPT to be the power flagship of PTT Group. Its core business is to generate and supply electricity, steam, and processed water to its customers.

About this position

The Assistant Manager – Finance and Tax will support financial management, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and commercial management within the subsidiary of CHPP.

Responsibilities

Financial Management:
• Assist in overseeing outsourced financial services to ensure compliance with regulations and accurate financial reporting.
• Support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and manage treasury functions, including payments and bank reconciliations.
Tax Compliance:
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.).
• Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors for tax-related matters and audits.
• Stay updated on tax regulations and advise management on potential implications.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide analysis on financial performance and variances.
Internal Controls:
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures.
Commercial Management:
• Oversee invoicing and payment management to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors to resolve payment-related issues.
• Support the development of efficient workflows for billing and collections processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA qualification is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and tax management roles.
• Strong knowledge of Thai tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
