About this position

The Lead / Senior Lead - Operations (Export) position involves supervising the export team, overseeing department functions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations while fostering team development and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the development and growth of the export team.
• Oversee export department functions and recommend process improvements.
• Implementing and allocating resources to meet the productivity and utilization.
• Drive and lead regular team meetings.
• Support and provide internal cross training / knowledge sharing for team members.
• Manages and resolve countries’ escalated issues in an efficient and timely manner.
• Regular call with customers to develop and maintain relationship.
• Ensure compliance and regulatory expectations are met within the service delivery scope.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor / Master’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 5-8 Years experience of import and export logistics.
• Minimum 3-year experience in supervisor level, in which must have been in integrated operations or multifunctional logistics experiences.
• Ability to communicate, lead the team and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be able to work in shifts.
• Able to work under pressure and flexible hours.
• Experience in Cargo Wise would be advantage.
• An experience in a multinational company would be an advantage.
