About this position

The Global Pricing Executive (Spot Quotation) will support the quotation process for GEODIS global customers, manage rates, and ensure effective communication regarding spot quotes.

Responsibilities

• Support the quotation for GEODIS global customers with larger spot quote volumes per customer will there be a SOP and the special requirements the customer may have.
• Administrate the rates, either from a tool/database or directly from country pricing team and communicate these rates as described in the SOP with the (internal) customers.
• Check with the customer if GEODIS get the spot quote awarded and communicate and administer this outcome.
• Support all received spot quotation according to SOP.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• 0-5 Years Experience in freight forwarding Air or Ocean operations and Pricing and understands the financial picture of the forwarding process (costs, loss, profit, currencies).
• Good knowledge of freight forwarding processes and regulations: supplier conditions, deliver terms, Inco terms, purchase conditions, risks and insurance terms.
• Clear and effective communication skills (also with customers).
• Knowledge of basic excel.
• Written English fluency is a must, oral strongly preferred.
• New graduated is also welcome.
