About this position

GEA is seeking a Sales Engineer/Sales Manager with a background in the Dairy, Food, and/or Beverage process industry to develop and grow their career in Thailand. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the industry, a proven sales track record, and strong connections with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales calls and visit existing and potential customers.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements to sales and business development.
• Collaborate with different business units in a matrix organization to ensure coordinated efforts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Frequently update sales activities on CRM software.
• Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments e.g. Services, Project Execution and sales colleagues from other departments, in order to be able to offer solutions that fulfill the customer’s needs.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstration to key customers regularly, converting leads to sales and benefits to customer and GEA.
• Build a strong relationship with new and existing customers to ensure that the yearly sales targets are met or exceeded.
• Engage in commercial negotiation with customers with sales support and GEA legal team.
• Participate in trade-shows and events within Thailand.
• Required to travel extensively.
• Coordinate between customer and project team for the ongoing projects to ensure smooth communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in industrial sales or a relevant technical field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good Command of English & Computer Literate.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic sales environment.
• Self-starter, well organized and having positive mindset.
