About this position

Responsible for initiating, managing, monitoring and coordinating digital projects amongst Digital transformation and business units to drive digital transformation success. This role will leverage knowledge from digital transformation, agile development, digital tools to contribute to change success.

Responsibilities

• Define scope and activities and project
• Participate in the analysis of vendor proposals and the evaluation of build versus buy.
• Provide detailed analysis (such as, ROI, business risk assessment, etc.) to management for review.
• Drive project feasibility analyses, with specific accountability to determine budget and resource requirements.
• Manage team resources, including facilitating activities allocation, tracking and adjusting utilization, and ensuring project team members under own project areas understand and accept their project roles and responsibilities.
• Lead creation of a well-defined product backlog of the project under responsibilities
• Identify sprint velocity and works with team to determine how they can continue to improve on velocity and recognize additional efficiencies as they mature.
• Manage relationships and networking with key and potential project stakeholders, internally and externally, on operation/ tactical level to ensure collaboration and insights to effectively achieve project goals.
• Design/develop execution and implementation guideline to ensure that project's deliverable will be effectively adopted by business units, aligned with predetermined quality, and meet with expected outcome.
• Develop planning of go-live and deployment activities and facilitate their execution.
• Manages the reporting and documentation on quality, standards, and cost of projects under responsibility.
• Coach Professional project managers regarding project management and coach members of the scrum/project team on technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business/ engineering/ computer science or a related discipline
• Experience of approximately 7 years in related technical fields and/or project execution - PMP/ Agile certification is a plus - Project Experience
• At least 3 years supporting successful delivery of at least 1 major projects in a manager role within the area of digital transformation
• Understand of the current and future petrochemical and/or refinery plant related processes and technologies
• Understand agile management and its implication to digital transformation in petrochemical and/or refinery plant
• Understand operations, implications of processes, effect of digital transformation and new technologies/ systems/ platforms implementation to petrochemical and/or refinery plant
• Able to effectively communicate highly technical information to numerous audiences from senior management to staff level
• Strengthen collaboration of project team members and stakeholders to ensure project completion
