Planning Officer
About this position
This role is to ensure effective production scheduling and raw material planning to meet customer expectations and optimize production capacity, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
Responsibilities
The Planning officer responsibilities will fall into varies:
• Production scheduling with low change over and maximum production output.
• Completes production plan by scheduling; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems.
• Maintains inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Monitor the shipments of materials from supplier, get the raw materials as scheduled, to ensure support production lines.
• Response to customer requires on stock availability, scheduling and delivery on time.
• Monitor production scheduling to ensure can meet delivery schedule through fast and accurate processing of orders.
• Monitor weekly shipments, track all required deliverables are on track to get to packaging as scheduled, mitigate issues to ensure production lines are achieving target.
• Provide & Meet monthly sales forecast.
• Inventory management with increases inventory turn.
• Compliance and implementation with applicable company HSE policy, law & regulations, ISO14001 and ISO45001 management system.
• Compliance with company IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirements to follow company procedure, working instruction and other registered documents in management systems.
• Compliance with HR policy, government regulation, employee handbook etc.
• Other tasks or duties as direct supervisor assigned.
• Development of planning skill and product knowledge.
• Supervise and support team to solve daily issue.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
• Education: Vocational Diploma – Bachelor Degree any field or equivalent.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory and planning process.
• Proficient PC skills: Microsoft Excel/Word/Power Point.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• At least 2 years’ experience in planning skill.
• Good written, spoken and communication skill in English.
• Computer literate such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and each other.
