Marketing Officer (Temporary Contract 1 Year)

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage assigned country marketing communication activities to support efforts to achieve heightened company awareness in country.
• The role shall carry out tactical activities to implement key marketing initiatives, campaigns and events;
• Supervise PR agency and ensure optimal results in media relations;
• Work closely with the sales team and channel partners in communicating new product launch, initiatives and strategies.
• Support key tasks, including identify high profile forums etc aligned with Regional vision and aspirations.
The assigned territories include all associated businesses in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos, covering business units for both Power Transmission (Automotive and Industrial) and Fluid Power.
This individual is expected to support the existing business of over USD30M of revenue in the next few years.
Requirements
The Marketing Officer’s specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:
Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
• Identify a range of potential partnerships/ alliances and appropriate channels and venues for promotional activities and its projects and services
• Manage a pipeline of quantified opportunities across various business lines with Senior Managers
• External representation of company in various public forums
Accountability #2: Process / Performance
• Implement marketing strategy to target audiences/country sales team
• Manage campaigns on social media
• Support new products launches as required for new product introduction
• Promote branding and output portfolio in support of this strategy
• Liaise with regional and global team on PR communications
• Manage branding strategy (taking current branding guidelines, websites and practices to the next level of implementation in support of the strategy
• Manage the delivery and management of outputs across all of corporate branding work, providing guidance to internal staff on distribution and us
• Develop and manage corporate messaging
Accountability #3: People
• Manage the delivery
