PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk is one of the largest food and beverage companies in Indonesia. Established in 1990, the founder of Garudafood has started its business activities since 1979 through PT Tudung Putra Jaya (TPJ), a company based in Pati, Central Java, which markets peanut products which later became Kacang Garuda (Garuda Peanut). Garudafood produces and markets food and beverage products under six leading brands, namely Garuda, Gery, Chocolatos, Clevo, Prochiz, and TopChiz. The products include biscuits, nuts, pilus, pellet snack, confectionery, milk drinks, cocoa powder, cheese, and dressing salad. Garudafood exports its products to more than 20 countries, focusing on ASEAN countries, Tiongkok and India.

About this position

The International Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for managing distributors in China to develop the business, establish market strategies, and ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to manage distributor in China in order to develop the business.
• Define, asses, review, establish and monitoring road to market (RTM).
• Build comprehensive Join Business Plan with distributors including establish target & monitoring for pricing structure, distribution (Registered Outlets vs Active Outlets), Sell-out, Sell-in, A&P budget / support.
• Forecast, Reporting, PO: Manage distributor to submit within specified agreed time, review and feedback. Balancing between commercial and operational.
• Market insights, ie: competitor activity, consumer behavior, trends etc that leads to formulate suitable strategy.
• Liaise with Commercial finance for P&L and Budget control.
• Handling commercial issues.
• Regular distributor review (4P review).
• Find and pitching to new distributors if needed.
• Work hand in hand with supporting team for Internal Issues.

Requirements

• Proven track record of developing new markets and closing new business in China.
• Have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience and have knowledgeable about distributor management and FMCG distribution (Route to Market, 4Ps).
• Outside Sales Skills: Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Meeting Sales Goals.
• Must be bilingual: English and Mandarin.
• Proficient in Distributor Management.
• Willing to be traveling going to China.
