Employee Relations Supervisor
About this position
The Employee Relations Supervisor is responsible for managing employee grievances, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering positive employee relations within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Handles the employee grievances / complaints locally, and regionally and gets it resolved properly and in a timely manner. Works closely with the employee’s line manager/s, and legal dept. when required, on the case investigation and report,
• Handles the labor dispute, court case, and others as related with the employee’s line manager/s, legal dept., labor protection & social welfare dept., and labor court, to get the case resolved properly and legally,
• Carries out the employee misconduct, disciplinary action, termination process, together with the employee’s line manager/s, and legal dept. when required,
• Works with the department heads / business leaders, line managers, to ensure full compliance of the employees in particular on the company policies, rules & regulations, announcement, guidelines, business code of conduct, etc. Also, to build & maintain good employee relationship across the company,
• Conducts and organize the company’s welfare committee & its meetings as required by law,
• Advises and implements the company rules & regulations on an annual basis or when there is a change in the labor law. As a subsequent, to update the company employee handbook, staff induction program, and others as related to be in line with the change,
• Conducts the training / workshop as needed, and being a trainer to line managers & people managers to ensure the company policies, rules & regulations, code of conduct, etc. are well communicated and understood,
• Responsible for internal communication including but not limited to new employees announcement, promotion announcement, company general announcement, cost saving activity / project, letter of appreciation & certification, etc.,
• Works in close coordination with the regional as well as global offices on the special projects including but not limited to Employee Engagement Survey, New Employee Values Implementation, Town-hall meeting, Corporate Social Responsibility, Annual Staff Activity, etc.,
• Handles the company expatriates’ formalities including VISA, 90 Days Report, Work Permit, etc.,
• Other tasks as assigned by the Employee Relations Manager as well as HR Director
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Law, Political Science, Human Resources Management or other related discipline,
• At least 3 years working experience in the same or similar role, preferable from the international manufacturing working environment,
• Through knowledge of local labor law, government guidelines, best practices, etc.,
• High responsibility, reliability, teamwork, service-minded, Positive-thinking, and Can-do Attitude,
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills,
• Being able to communicate in English both speaking and writing,
• Good computer skills, and communication tools i.e. Google Meeting, Chat.
