About this position

The Legal Collection Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling debt management activities, managing external law firms, and fostering team unity to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Planning, monitoring and controlling LTO debt management activities related to Revenue department and accounting standard as well as group policies and compliance.
• Manage external law firms and handle customers with LTO or legal status, collect and reduce bad debt to protect risk of company as given target which resulted to get lowest legal debt outstanding and bad debt written-off.
• Foster team unity to continually reach department and company-wide business goals.
• Manage LTO database to ensure completeness with accuracy and in timely manner.
• Review the completeness of supporting documents prepared by collection team for taking legal action to delinquent/default customer.
• Monitor and communicate with external laws firm performance to ensure all legal cases have been managed with proper legal stages and in timely manner to reduce company’s risks.
• Improve and implement LTO debt management process from-end-to-end in order to increase productivities with cost saving and increase percentage of success cases repayment.
• Coordinate activities with related parties to ensure a smooth and efficient with purpose to reduce the number of cases that may overlook and/or loss.
• Corporate with related departments in order to take back Company’s asset by ensuring that method of such resolution is workable and legally with optimize the Company’s benefits.
• Responsible in preparing all related reports and analyze data pertaining and regularly share with related functions as well as management or as needed.
• Communicate with or visit customers to build and maintain a strong working relationship and reduce potential loss of the cases.
• Oversee the team by supervise, coaching, and training to improve team competencies.
• Active as a company representative to be witness (if need) at court for litigation process.
• Consider, approve, review, follow up, and advise appropriate guideline of company procedures.
• Assist Head of AR Management with proper action and/or advice countermeasure through manager to meet target and timeline.
• Any other as requires by superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Laws, Finance and/or Accounting or other related fields.
• Minimum 5 years experiences in Litigation or Collection and 3 years in managerial level.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Computer literacy (MS, Excel, power-point)
• Strong leadership, problem solving, good analytical, and decision making.
• Excellent in written and verbal communication skills both in Thai and English.
• Excellent in negotiation and interpersonal skills with good team player.
• Any training course in taxes, credit & collection, and/or risk management be taken will have an advantage.
