Purchasing & Planning Officer
About this position
The Purchasing & Planning Officer at Freudenberg is responsible for sourcing suppliers, managing production schedules, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
• Sourcing new supplier both local & offshore supplier to meet specification and requirements in term of cost and delivery
• Follow up with Vendor / supplier to deliver material on time with optimal stock level
• Cooperate with global inter company to get offshore material to support production
• Annual supplier audit & evaluation
• Issue PR / PO on time and precisely
• Plan and prepare production schedules for factory and subcontract manufacturing. Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet delivery dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Manage robust inventory level at factory and subcontract to achieve working capital and meet customer demand.
• Planning for material requirement and place an order to ensure all materials are ready for production with optimal inventory level.
• Analyzes production plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements (4M)
• Monitoring production result at factory and subcontract site comparing with scheduling and adjustment scheduling if needed to ensure delivery on time.
• Able to review reorder suggestions checking reorder levels, quantities and stock holding.
• Ensure production transaction system is correct, all work order are completed key in system
• Ensure 4M is ready for manufacturing and collaboration with team (production, sale, purchase, QA and subcontract to expedite delivery of FG and raw material on time
• Update the BOM (Bill of Materials) system.
• Create Purchase Order for all material in factory and subcontract site
• Summary report for production result and inventory level regularly and analyses for further improvement with action plan
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Engineer, Science or relate fields
• Experiences in Production planning, capacity and or strategic planning and Purchase or Procurement preferable in Automotive or Electronic industry.
• Familiar with ERP / SAP system
• Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
• Good customer service/interpersonal skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
• Logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems with Can Do attitude
