About this position

Freshket is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Logistics Manager to lead our logistics team and optimize our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of fresh produce from suppliers to clients within Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the logistics team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Identify and onboard reliable delivery partners, negotiating favorable terms to ensure on-time and cost-effective deliveries.
• Oversee end-to-end logistics processes, including order processing, routes planning, On-time delivery tracking, and issue resolution to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics, such as on-time deliveries, delivery accuracy, and transportation costs and take proactive actions to address any deviations from targets.
• Collaborate with the Tech team to develop cost optimization features and streamline logistics processes using technology solutions.
• Manage in-house and 3PL riders and trucks, ensuring their availability, performance, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Monitor and reconcile logistics costs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgetary constraints.
• Spearhead new logistics projects to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the growth of Freshket.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is advantageous.
• 5+ years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within the food, e-commerce or agriculture industry.
• Deep understanding of transportation management, route planning optimization, and delivery operations.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools for route optimization and cost management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and delivery partners.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate unforeseen challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient logistics operations.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
