Leasing Deal Analyst & Research
About this position
The Leasing Deal Analyst and Research Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, market research, and deal evaluation related to leasing transactions. The individual will work closely with the leasing team, finance department, and senior management to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for lease deals. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and an ability to assess both current and future market trends.
Responsibilities
• Analyse lease deals, including rental rates, lease terms, tenant performance, and overall financial health.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate leasing scenarios, profitability, and return on investment (ROI).
• Evaluate the financial impact of proposed deal structures, concessions, and incentives.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis on various deal structures to optimize leasing strategies.
• Assist leasing teams with data-driven insights during negotiations with tenants, landlords.
• Work closely with finance, legal, and leasing teams to ensure the alignment of leasing deals with organizational goals.
• Perform market research to understand local, regional, and national leasing trends.
• Analysis of market and industry peers, track industry developments, leasing and maintain database of such analysis.
• Track and analyze data on comparable properties, occupancy rates, rental rates, and other relevant metrics.
• Collect and organize data related to lease transactions, including historical data and new deal activity.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Track and monitor business performance of asset under management. Prepare presentations and regular report business performance.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leasing analysis, financial analysis, real estate research, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in financial feasibility studies, financial modelling and real estate valuation tools.
• Possess excellent analytical / presentation / negotiation / communication skills.
• Advance knowledge in MS Office suit i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge in IT and Systems will be preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills, strong initiative, good business and financial acumen, and ability to work independence in fast-paced environment.
