About this position

The Head of Investment and Investor Relations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the FIRM’s investment strategy and managing relationships with investors. This position requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in investment analysis, financial modeling, and strategic communication.

Responsibilities

Investment Responsibilities:
• Analyze potential investment opportunities for target assets.
• Perform industry, market, and competitive research to assess risks and opportunities related to investment decisions.
• Support team members in evaluating the attractiveness and potential risks of investment opportunities, maintaining expertise in the covered industry.
• Develop detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, corporate finance projects, and potential acquisitions.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, including ROI analysis, valuation, and scenario modeling.
• Lead the development and presentation of detailed investment proposals, incorporating financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic fit analysis, to the investment committee and stakeholders.
• Maintain networks and relationships concerning existing and prospective investments.
• Manage negotiations, deal structuring, and execution of transactions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Investor Relations Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage investor relations (IR) activities.
• Prepare and disclose information and reports to the public, including Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and presentations.
• Analyze business performance, including financial results and operational data.
• Manage quarterly earnings announcements and conference calls.
• Oversee equity research and investor relationships.
• Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and Management Team, providing insights into the investment community’s views, peers’ performance, market activity, and best practices.
• Build and maintain a strong reputation through consistent and clear communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Acquire and cultivate relationships with investors and analysts.
• Handle the submission process for the annual SET Awards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, real estate, architecture, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, business development, financial analysis, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Proven knowledge and experience in property developments, financial modeling, project feasibility, joint ventures (JV), and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
• Strong team player with analytical and systematic thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience in the real estate industry; investment experience in industrial properties is a plus.
• Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as advanced Excel, Python, SQL, P.
