QA Engineer
About this position
The QA Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing quality plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards, conducting tests, and collaborating with various departments to maintain product quality.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement quality plans to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications, like: procedures, MPS, quality plan, qc checklist, working Instruction, WI, ISIR, CTQ etc). Pass the all relevant quality document to all execution departments (DTC, Mold shop, Production QC).
• Ensure that all tests (Lab Test) are performed in the early stage of a new item, material and color samples. Summary of all test ratio result. Giving the QA approval base on results, if summary is passed. Report to QM Manager and Technical Director if lab test passed or failed in summary. Pass the information also to all other involved departments (Project manager, Tooling, Mold shop, DTC, Production).
• First sample inspection and initiating the ISIR, together with QC technician. Judge the quality if the result meets customer requirements. If not reject the part and inform Project manager to pass the information to the responsible department for improvement.
• Monitor, inspect the product quality. Collect the quality data from products (Lab and CAQ results), analayse and evaluate it. Make an quality overview, and judge if the result meets customer requirements. If not reject the part and inform Project manager to pass the information to the responsible department for improvement. As well report to QM Manager and Technical Director.
• Ensure all the documentations such as setting report, QA plan, QC checklist cycle time report, MPS, WI, quality cataloques, CTQ, packing standards, etc are well maintain, finished on time, properly and smoothly hand over to related parties.
• Collaborate with related parties to ensure consistent project execution.
• Provide training to employees on quality standards, processes, and tools to ensure adherence to quality requirements. Record of trainings and preparing the schedule for follow up trainings.
• Communicate with suppliers and project managers to ensure that raw materials or components meet quality standards and specifications. By conducting supplier audits and establishing quality agreements.
• Maintain and update the Project in the Master Data and ensure that all information’s in the Master Data are following the latest update of internal process.
• Perform other works as instructed by superiors that within the scope of the company.
Requirements
• Minimum D3/Polytechnic from technical background.
• At least 5-8 years of working experience in a related field (Technical/Plastic Engineering/Production Engineering/Injection Plastic Company).
• Technical knowledge of injection molding and an understanding of the APQP/FMEA cycle in the product development process for quality assurance.
• Have analytical skills, ability to pay attention to details.

• Fluent in English (both oral and written).
• Have good communication skills and able to work with a team and independently.
