As a Production Planning & Control Specialist at MAKA Motors, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes, focusing on production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
• Optimizing production processes: Ensuring efficient and smooth operations by effectively managing resources, meeting production schedules, and maintaining high-quality standards
• Forecasting demand and planning capacity: Analyzing future needs, determining production capacity, and creating detailed production schedules
• Monitoring production progress: Tracking production performance, identifying issues, and making real-time adjustments
• Ensuring quality standards: Maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Controlling costs: Minimizing waste, optimizing efficiency, and staying within budget
• Streamlining production: Contributing to a smooth and efficient manufacturing process that drives organizational success
• Managing inventory: Ensuring materials are available when needed without excess stock
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams: Collaborating with departments such as material planning, cost control, finance, production operations, quality, warehouse, procurement, and logistics to streamline processes and reduce costs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (with a focus on operations management)
• At least 5 years of experience in production planning & control, process improvement, or capacity planning within the automotive industry
• Experience working for an OEM automotive company or a OEM automotive supplier
• The ability to build custom production planning systems tailored to a company's unique processes
• The ability to create production schedules that align with demand forecasts, machine capacity, and labor availability
• The ability to assess and optimize machine, material, manpower, and method related to capacity planning
• Familiarity with the Material Requirement Planning process
• The ability to analyze production data, generate reports, and use parameters
