Material Manager

Responsibilities
• Comprehend and understand on material processing with PA (Polyamide), TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), etc. and have knowledge about Injection plastic and extrusion processing.
• Have knowledge of coloring in the plastic injection process, both in the color matching and troubleshooting process.
• Have an understanding of plastic material testing standards, both physical tests and chemical tests. Work on developing sustainable plastic raw materials and responsible for material tracking & traceability report.
• Know how to manage and maintain material turnover ratio stock.
• Manage all manpower in the materials department, and ensure material flow is used properly, improve standard operation procedures (SOP) and working instructions (WI).
• IoT and collaborate with digitalization to design reports and processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planning.
• Create and maintain company’s supply chain strategy for material, analyze data from material forecasting and operation.
• Managing activities of material department to achieve company KPIs.
Requirements
• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in a management-level position related plastics industry is a plus.
• Have knowledge about Injection plastic, material handling and extrusion processing.
• Very good language proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is a must.
• Skilled in handling Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, etc.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills are compulsory.
• Self-motivation, ability to work independently and an attitude of continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of compliance, laws, and close communication with the Human Resource Dept.
