About this position

The Color & Material RD Head will be responsible for planning and organizing seasonal color and material developments, managing the color team, liaising with suppliers and customers, and ensuring successful color projects into production.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize seasonal new Color and Material Developments
• Plan and organize the Development color Team activities
• Follow up the planning from the PPIC
• Communicate and liaise with Suppliers, Customers and Development
• Follow up of Commerce Process with all Relevant Communication Gates
• Follow up Framas and Customer Quality and Material Testing Requirements
• Responsible for getting Color Projects successful into Production
• Conduct Team/Resource Management for new materials of products
• Plan and Check Pigment and Material for Development Stage
• Responsible to approve Article Document Online for Color running in Production
• Arrange Overtime and approve it in Payroll
• Report in Regular Basis regarding Color and Material Development Status
• Perform other work as instructed by superiors that within the scope of the company
• Follow KPI's and Project Targets

Requirements

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related field
• At least 5 years of working experience in a management-level position related to Plastic Materials and Colors is a plus
• Knowledge of color matching in plastics, color testing, plastic materials, material handling, and injection molding
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, etc
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and an attitude of continuous improvement
