Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
• Equipment Duplication: Line layout design, material listing, timeline planning, and mass production for finalized automation cells.
• Equipment Maintenance Planning & Monitoring: Responsible for minimizing downtime in the running automation process.
• Brainstorming & suggesting for new or improvement Automation Concept Review.
• Make sure the running Automation Process smooth and On-target (Labour, Handling time, Cycle Time & Quality).
• Consolidate robot re-layout, both mechanically and electrically related to Robot-Machine Integration (Euro map Interlock).
• Conduct daily meeting to get report and delegate jobs to subordinates.
• Conduct Training to subordinates.
• Participate on external or internal training.
• Establish and maintaining a good 6S environment at automation workshop and working cubical.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong skills in 3D drawing (Rhinoceros 3D software highly preferable), mechanical drawing, machining (workbench, lathe, milling), and jig or automation system design.
• Fluent in English (both oral and written).
• Experience with injection machines, PLC Omron, Fanuc robots, and Yushin robots (preferable).
• Expertise in EoAT, jig and layout design, and automation trials, troubleshooting, and improvement.
• Experience in Euromap integration and production automation systems.
• Ability to create and maintain automation trial and maintenance plans, 3D designs, and BOM lists.
• Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatical, and electrical systems (sequence, PLC).
• Experience in robot teaching and maintenance (5- and 6-axis robots).
