About this position
The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing the full scope of accounting responsibilities, ensuring accurate financial record keeping, and coordinating with overseas banks.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate with oversea bank.
• Manage full scope of accounting responsibilities (A/R, A/P, G/L)
• Overall Finance & Accounting Knowledge.
• Manage ledgers and ensure accurate financial record keeping across departments.
• Receive and process invoices and billing statements.
• Track payments and ensure accuracy of paid accounts.
• Assist with general accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
• Contact clients and vendors as necessary to ensure accurate and on-time payment.
Requirements
• Strong communication in English skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (finance, accounting).
• Previous experience of 2-3 years in accounting field.
• Competent in Microsoft Office especially in Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure with a can-do & positive attitude.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal skill and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, team work and collaboration skills
