Sales Manager
About this position
Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is seeking a Sales Manager to develop strong relationships with customer contacts in Purchasing, Engineering, and Programs.
Responsibilities
• Customer Interaction: Interface with customers at the management level, develop relationships, attend meetings, and monitor competition.
• Commercial Offers: Prepare, validate, and document commercial offers, ensuring timely responses to customer requests.
• Team Management: Recruit, coach, and develop a team of Sales Engineers, assign objectives, and follow up on performance.
• Serial Life Management: Handle customer Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), understand pricing impacts, and manage commercial productivity proposals.
• Programs Oversight: Oversee sales aspects of multiple programs, support ECR negotiations, and monitor program profitability.
• Acquisitions: Lead or participate in acquisition teams, understand business plans, and improve commercial offers through negotiation.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineer or Business Management.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience with successful track record with different commercial assignments.
• Established personal relationship with one or two OEMs within the relevant markets.
• Fluent in English and one more language is a plus.
• Very broad functional knowledge and depth understanding of business expertise.
• Strong competencies in relationship management, and negotiation.
• Comfortable with financials.
• Good communication and presentation skills, and capacity of empathy.
• Business international mindset.

• Team player and ability to work in a matrix organization.
