Master Scheduling Supervisor
About this position
Responsibilities
• Analyze, understand, and anticipate customer needs, ensuring they are reflected in production activities.
• Analyze customer Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM) to propose improvement action plans, define and optimize data gathering and exchange, and ensure data integrity in systems.
• Follow up on the achievement of the customer delivery program by managing alerts and coordinating transportation and delivery of pieces.
• Prepare the Sales & Operations Planning (PIC/SIOP) on a monthly basis to achieve proper volume levels and optimize resources (personnel, machinery, materials, and supplier readiness and capacity).
• Implement and drive the Master Production Schedule (PDP/MPS) to ensure a level production plan and accommodate variations in customer demand.
• Manage pool and safety stock levels.
• Ensure that the sequencer and procurements are consistent with the PDP.
• Manage both internal (Interco) and external customer demands and requirements.
• Maintain FG inventory at expected levels.
• Achieve budgeted production adherence.
• Follow and improve production planning and customer service processes to meet FES standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years in Master Scheduler, Production Planning, Customer Service or Supply Chain.
• Proficient in SAP.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with strong leadership capabilities.
• Background in the automotive sector is advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical abilities are essential.
• Proven experience in master scheduling and capacity planning.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
