About this position

As an IE & Digitalization Engineer at FORVIA Thailand, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing site capacity across front-end, back-end, and assembly processes, while leading Digital Transformation projects to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize site capacity for various processes.
• Calculate cycle times and support line balancing efforts.
• Ensure sufficient space and capacity using OEE, cycle time diagrams, and VSM.
• Develop and maintain capacity calculation tools and industrial databases.
• Lead Digital Transformation projects to improve operational performance.
• Manage project timelines, capital expenditures, and potential savings.

Requirements

• Lean Manufacturing: Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles; operations experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD software and MS Office tools.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Digital Skills: Curiosity and proficiency in new technologies and digital tools.
• Data Management: Comfortable with data management and analysis.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English is required.
• Personal Attributes: Agile, open to new ideas, customer-oriented, with strong leadership, team spirit, autonomy, drive, and energy.
• Experience: Proven experience in transformation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing and digital transformation projects.
