About this position

The VME Body - Body Process/Facilities Engineer position involves supporting the ISB VME for process activities at BIW/VOW, focusing on delivering key business objectives related to SQCDPME, developing new tooling, and optimizing operational flows.

Responsibilities

• Support in ISB (BCE or SBU) VME for Process at BIW/VOW activities to deliver the key business objectives about SQCDPME for successful business excellent and develop robust of the current process.
• Support in ISB (BCE or SBU) VME for develop new tooling/utility to delivery success in time frame.
• Support in ISB (BCE or SBU) VME for develop operation flow, cycle time, ergonomics to deliver success matrix.
• Respond to study new/current process in feasibility to suit with implementation plant (AAT&FTM) for delivery success in key SQCDPME.
• Respond/Engauge team to success deliver Initiative to setting tool/equipment as process require improve/maintain for quality level as require relate to operation to achieve the SQCDPME target in new/current model.
• Respond to quality problem analysis and solving for Body Structure to achieve in BIW/VOW process through process control and close monitoring the process parameters to achieve right/ high Quality.
• Respond to monitor regular activities and Continuous improve in BIW/VOW operation to ensure right quality setting up, availability. Executes trial of process for quality confirmation during Launch/current model.
• Respond to conduct the dimensional/quality issue in BIW/VOW with customer also coordinate with cross functional for quality improvement and team driven to finding the right solution for quality improvement with robustness solution.
• Support to Body Exterior Ornamentations process and ensure quality meet in lever as require with craftsmanship for new/current model.
• Respond to coordinate with cross-functional teams, advance team, PD and STA to align for locator strategy due to standard require and trial new model launch activity to achieve launch objectives.
• Responsible to establish the robust training & development plan for Body ornamentation require improve skill.
• Create a conductive work environment for the teams to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks.
• Flexible to work both Manufacturing plant for AAT and FTM.
• Able to travel for support IMG and regional as require/assign.

Requirements

• Studying or bachelor’s degree of Engineering or relate.
• 5 - 8 years working experience in Bodyshop process or facility engineer.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Equipment buyoff procedures, Teamcenter or Cartier 2/3D viewer.
• Basic in MSA (Measurements System Analysis).
• Background and knowledge in LD strategy, Assembly concepts and standards (If need).
• Understand and able to initiative for Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Exposures in new model equipment and facility planning.
• Very Good command of English and computer literate.
• Have self-starter / initiative with good communication skills.
• Good team player, strong leadership including ability to learn and adapt.
• Able to Gather, Analyses, evaluate data to provide an option to decision making and presented.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
• Ability to learn, developing and motivate towards delivery of objectives and skill for managing Body operations.
• Involve team direction and activity to driven teamwork.
