About this position

The Regional Training Developer will be responsible for coordinating and developing training programs across various international markets, focusing on technical training and competence improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Global Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) team to understand tough-to-diagnose issues or high-volume TSRs across IMG markets.
• Identify potential topics for short classroom or video training modules.
• Propose development topics and delivery methods (short training module or short video) to the supervisor/manager.
• Develop short training modules (classroom, activities, or short videos) for Fix It Right First Time (FIRFT) improvement and VOR reduction across all IMG markets.
• Collaborate on the implementation of the short training module or video in the IMG market.
• Deliver competence improvement through suitable and strategic technical training materials across IMG.
• Deliver a complete service training strategy across IMG, including training development.
• Deliver robust problem-solving within the allocated functional area.
• Implement a centralized regional training development and delivery strategy.
• Coordinate supplier training development to support FIRFT and VOR reduction across IMG markets.
• Participate in technical training development discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and associate degree in a technical field or comparable work experience.
• 3-5 years of automotive or related experience with technical training experience preferred.
• Experience / knowledge of training plans, training development practices, and delivery techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage critical timing and conflicting demands.
• Proficiency in or knowledge of IMG markets will be valuable.
• Management skills to include strategic plan development, decision-making abilities, program implementation, and coaching.
