About this position
Responsibilities
• Performance management
• Drive business performance management of the MD Office scope, including goal alignment process, evaluating performance, and driving interventions
• Act as a "bridge" between local leadership and regional stakeholders to:
• Discuss country performance
• Align support from functions, and
• Align and drive strategic priorities
• Work with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Sales, Operations, Marketing, etc.) on high-impact projects
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to support the MD in decision-making and communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Thought-Partnering
• Support Country Directors in designing solutions to complex business problems
• Conduct research and analysis on key issues and provide recommendations to the MD and relevant local directors
• Collaborate with the MD to identify key priorities, align them with department heads/directors, and offer support through analysis and project management as required
• Take ownership of competitor-related information gathered from customers, riders, and vendors. Work closely with other department heads/directors, including but not limited to those in pricing, deals/discounts, and overall experience, to stay informed about any relevant movements in the market
• Special Projects
• Drive special initiatives that have top-line / bottom-line impact across Thailand
• Manage and oversee strategic C-level projects from ideation to execution
• Build project plans with end-to-end ownership, from planning through delivery, as required
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced Degree is preferred
• At least 3-6 years of experience in management consulting, founder’s office, project management, or commercial roles
• Proven track record in leading and executing complex, cross-functional projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to generate insights and develop actionable recommendations
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Experience working in the technology, e-commerce, or food industry is a plus
